Annual report on the status of the global wind industry by the Global Wind Energy Council. It provides a comprehensive snapshot of the industry, and country reports for the largest wind countries. Highlights are: cumulative installed capacity (end 2010): 197 GW, New installations (2010): 38 GW, of which 50% in China. Offshore: Europe ~3GW cumulative and ~0.88 GW new installations. The first offshore wind project outside Europe came online in China in June 2010 (Shanghai Donghai Bridge Offshore wind farm)
