| Summary | The report analyses the potential for energy efficiency improvements in the Netherlands. It is broken down per sector and compares a high and low energy efficiency scenario with the scenarios: frozen efficiency, BAU, and BAU + existing policy. In addition it contains a section on barriers that prevent implementation towards the 'maximum realisable potential'. The analysis is on demand side energy efficiency improvements; structural changes, behavior changes (including e.g. modal shift), supply side changes and chain efficiency improvements are outside scope. |
