Indirect emissions of carbon dioxide from Marcellus shale gas development

Published 2011 / 06
Summary The authors estimate the emissions of carbon dioxide associated with all fuel combustion associated with the shale gas life-cycle focusing on the Marcellus shale as a case study. This report does not address fugitive GHG emissions. Indirect CO2 emissions are estimated to be slightly larger than the Cornell University publication from April 2011 (refman.et-model.com/publications/1640).
